Hi .... My name is Bev Anderson.
How I got started in the dog world was never anything I planned, it just happened and I am a strong believer- things happen for a reason. The first dog show I went to, I got the thing called the "show bug" and the rest is HISTORY!
I started in Pugs in 1986 and had 7 Multi Group Champion winners. I got my first Frenchie in 1992 and that was the beginning of one of the greatest journey's I have ever been on!! I went places and achieved things I never would of dreamed could come true.
My first French Bulldog was a little 12 week old Brindle male named Mr. Magoo. We went to our first dog show when he was 7 months old. We had to travel quite far as there wasn't many frenchies around in 1992. We heard that there was going to be a supported entry at the show, so we packed up and hit the road. The first day we got Breed from the 6-9 month class, then the next day we got Breed again over Specials and Best Puppy in Group. The third and final day there was 17 Frenchies entered for the supported entry and we got Best of Winners! It was the biggest entry Canada had had in Frenchies. We were done.... our Championship in one weekend!! Mr Magoo and I looked at each other and said- NOW WHAT ??? Well lets just go and have some fun!
