Let me tell you a little bit about my first Frenchie...

Feb 12, 1992 - April 1, 2002

He came into my life one day in May 1992. I arrived at the airport to find it all in a buzz... they wanted me to hurry up and get the little BOXER out of the kennel so they could see him. I laughed and told them, "This is a French Bulldog". They said, "What's a French Bulldog?" They had never heard of the breed. Back in 1992 there was not very many Frenchies in Canada. I could hardly get the kennel open fast enough to meet him myself. I had waited so long for a Frenchie and here he was and ALL mine.

Well this little brindle boy comes out of the kennel like, "HERE I AM" and "Am I not the cutest thing you have ever set your eye's on?" I don't think I have to say it was LOVE at first sight.

He kept that attitude all his life. He would enter the ring with this presence "See me, like me, pick me, or not, I don't really care."

I remember one time as a Judge was handing me a Group 3 ribbon and he said IF ONLY he had just a little bit more attitude I would of placed him higher I laughed and said you could stand in the middle of the ring butt naked spitting wooden Nickles and it would make no difference to him.

Together we conquered the many roads we travelled and had a great time doing it. When he left this world April 1, 2002, he took a piece of my heart and NO ONE will ever fill it in the same way. I MISS you Godie Man (that is what I called him or my Handsome Man). Someday I will meet you again and hug you and never let you go. It is not easy to say GOOD-BYE. Till we met again.

Thanks for taking the time to meet...
